My favourite Facebook group for authors and readers is the SciFi Roundtable. It's a very supportive group of people from a wide range of backgrounds.
Politics is parked at the door, and all the better for that, and encouragement is plentiful.
It also has a newsletter regularly keeping people up to date with book releases by members of the group, as well as spotlighting individual members.
